Job Summary:

The Punch Press Operator is responsible for producing metal parts using punch press equipment and other machinery within a manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to work efficiently to meet production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Operation & Production Operate punch presses and other department machinery Produce metal parts according to specifications and work instructions Monitor machine operation and ensure consistent product quality Material Handling & Finishing Wash or oil parts as needed Inspect parts for quality and accuracy General Duties Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines Support additional production tasks as needed

Qualifications:

Required:

Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic Ability to communicate effectively Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment

Preferred:

Previous punch press experience

Working Conditions:

Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and equipment Frequent standing and movement throughout the shift Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally
