General Production Worker

General Production Worker Job Description The role involves assembling wooden crates and A-frames using power tools like nail guns and hammers. You will ensure the crates meet specifications and are secure for shipping. Maintaining a clean and safe work area, following safety protocols, and completing tasks within the timeframe are essential. Quality control standards must be met for all crates built, and you'll report any issues to supervisors. Responsibilities Assemble wooden crates and A-frames using power tools such as nail guns and hammers. Ensure wooden crates meet specifications and are sturdy for shipping purposes. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Report any issues or concerns to the supervisor. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines. Complete tasks within the given timeframe. Meet quality control standards for all crates built. Perform other related duties as directed by the Supervisor. Essential Skills Experience in production, general labor, and assembly. Proficiency with hand tools, tape measure, and power tools. Ability to read blueprints and work orders. Additional Skills & Qualifications At least 6 months of manufacturing experience. The dress code includes jeans, a t-shirt, and steel-toed boots. PPE will be supplied by the company. Work hours are from 6 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, on the first shift. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Owatonna, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
