3:30pm - 2am Job Description The Operator I is responsible for the production of high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell. Working under close supervision, the individual may perform a combination of assembly, repair, and testing operations on medical devices such as pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, and related assemblies. The role involves performing routine assignments according to specified and standardized procedures, with work that is closely reviewed. Key Responsibilities Perform assembly, repair, and testing operations on medical device components. Follow standardized work instructions and manufacturing procedures. Ensure job documentation for cell operations is accurate and up to date. Maintain accurate production and quality records to ensure product traceability. Clearly communicate ideas, problems, and solutions to manufacturing management both verbally and in writing. Maintain a positive attitude when interacting with internal teams and visitors during facility tours. Follow all safety guidelines and use appropriate safety equipment during operations. Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to enhance production efficiency and meet quality and profitability goals. Maintain accurate traveler and quality documentation to ensure all parts remain traceable. Demonstrate a basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles. Work with the Manufacturing Supervisor/Manager to set and monitor individual goals and cell performance metrics. Support divisional initiatives related to Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and regulatory requirements. Required Skills and Qualifications Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions. Basic understanding of electronic data collection systems and computer software. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments based on importance and sequence. Ability to handle and maneuver small components and parts. Ability to make sound decisions with minimal supervision. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.Pay:
