General Production Worker

Job Title General Production Worker Job Description The General Production Worker role involves packaging lightweight items and supporting routine production tasks in a clean, organized work environment. This position requires following written instructions, maintaining quality standards, and performing basic math to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities Package lightweight items into boxes according to work instructions. Follow written procedures for packaging, labeling, and material handling. Inspect items to ensure quality requirements are met. Prepare completed items for the next step, including counting and organizing materials. Perform basic math to verify quantities and counts. Monitor assigned tasks and report issues as directed. Work as part of a small team and maintain a clean, safe work area. Stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds as required. Follow all safety and workplace guidelines. Required Skills Ability to read and follow written instructions. Basic math and attention to detail. Ability to perform physical tasks including standing and lifting up to 25 pounds. Reliable attendance and ability to work assigned schedules. Prior production or general labor experience preferred but not required. Work Environment & Shift Work is performed in a structured, safety-focused facility. The role involves standing for most of the shift, regular lifting, and working as part of a team in an organized setting. 1st

7pm-5am M-Th Optional OT on Fridays Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Red Wing, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
