Full-time Job Summary:

The U Pull R Parts Production Lead is based at our retail location in Rosemount, Minnesota. The Production Lead reports directly to the Production Manager and plays a key role in supporting daily operations. This position provides hands-on leadership, direction, and support to the production team, including Loader Operator, Loader Operator Assistants, Tire Technicians, Drain Technicians, and Torch Technicians. The Production Lead helps ensure safe, efficient operations while assisting the Production Manager in achieving department goals.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Assist Production Manager in overseeing daily activities and ensuring workflows run efficiently Provide day-to-day direction, support, and guidance to production team members Monitor team performance and productivity, helping ensure production goals and timelines are met Promote and enforce safe work practices and ensure all team members follow safety policies and procedures Assist in training new employees and cross-training existing team members on equipment, processes, and safety standards Serve as a point of contact for production staff during shifts, helping resolve issues and escalate concerns to the Production Manager as needed Help coordinate daily work assignments and adjust priorities based on operational needs Support the Production Manager in maintaining adequate staffing levels by communicating scheduling or staffing concerns Perform regular walkthroughs of the production area and yard to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with company standards Assist with equipment checks, reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring unsafe equipment is taken out of service Help ensure necessary tools, supplies, and safety equipment are available and properly maintained Support inventory tracking of production-related materials such as tires, fluids, and shop supplies Lead by example by demonstrating strong work ethic, teamwork, and adherence to company policies Assist with production reporting and documentation as requested Step in to perform hands-on production tasks as needed to support the team Assist with other duties or projects as assigned by the

Production Manager or Site Manager Key Skills/Qualifications:

Previous experience in a production, automotive, recycling, or industrial environment preferred Prior leadership or supervisory experience is a plus Strong understanding of safety practices and ability to enforce them consistently Ability to lead by example and work alongside team members in a hands-on environment Good communication and problem-solving skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Mechanical aptitude or familiarity with tools and equipment used in automotive or salvage operations

Work Environment:

Outdoor and shop environment with exposure to various weather conditions Physically demanding work including standing, lifting, bending, and operating equipment Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required

Compensation/Benefits:

The pay for this position is $24
