Job Description

Utility Operator, Machine Operator & Packager (All Shifts) Overview Join our fast‑growing, family‑oriented food production team. We are hiring Utility Operators , Machine Operators , and Packagers across all shifts to support our high‑volume production and packaging operations. These hands‑on roles are essential to keeping our lines running efficiently, safely, and with top‑tier quality. Employees work in a food‑grade environment where temperatures can reach up to 100 degrees , and full protective attire (gown, hair net, beard net if applicable) is required and provided. Key Responsibilities Packaging Operations — Palletizing, packing finished goods, verifying counts, and ensuring accurate labeling. Machine Operation — Performing machine setups, changeovers, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting to keep production flowing. Utility Support — Bringing materials to the line, monitoring metal detectors, documenting production data, and supporting line leads. Quality & Safety — Verifying product weights, counts, and quality; maintaining hygiene and safety standards. Documentation — Recording job times, waste, serial numbers, pallet counts, and ERP entries (PLEX). Team Coordination — Assisting with break schedules, communicating production needs, and supporting operators. Essential Skills & Requirements 1-2 years of experience in production, packaging, or machine operation. Ability to perform equipment setups, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting . Basic computer skills for ERP data entry. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push up to 30 lbs throughout the shift. Basic English or Spanish communication skills. Comfortable working in high‑temperature environments (up to 100 degrees). Reliable attendance and willingness to grow within the company. Preferred Experience Food manufacturing or bakery production. Prior machine operation or packaging line experience. Familiarity with metal detectors, scales, or automated packaging equipment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eagan, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $22.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
