Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented professional to join our manufacturing team as a Batch Powdercoater. In this role, you will prepare, coat, and finish components to meet quality standards, production schedules, and customer expectations. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing consistent results, follows safety procedures, and works well in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare parts for coating by cleaning, masking, hanging, or racking components as needed. Apply powder coating materials to parts according to production specifications and quality requirements. Operate and monitor powder coating equipment, ovens, and related tools. Inspect coated parts for coverage, finish quality, and defects before and after curing. Perform color changes, material handling, and batch coordination as required. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all safety guidelines, quality standards, and production procedures. Communicate any equipment issues, material shortages, or quality concerns to supervisors. Support other production tasks as needed to meet daily goals. Qualifications Prior experience in powder coating, painting, finishing, or a related manufacturing environment is preferred. Ability to read work instructions, follow directions, and maintain attention to detail. Basic understanding of coating application methods and surface preparation techniques. Comfortable working with hand tools, lifting equipment, and production machinery. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing setting. Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Attributes Experience with batch processing and high-volume production. Familiarity with inspection standards and finish specifications. Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Willingness to learn and adapt to changing production needs.
