Contract Production Worker

Full job description Job Overview Join our dynamic food processing plant as a Production Worker and become a vital part of our food manufacturing team! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for supporting the production line, ensuring food safety and quality standards are met, and maintaining efficient operations. All production associates are joining the team as a Temporary associate-these contracts are open ended, weekly pay! Responsibilities Operate machinery and equipment used in food processing and packaging, following safety protocols and standard operating procedures Assist with the preparation, assembly, and packaging of food products, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in compliance with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and sanitation standards Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with FDA regulations, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and food safety guidelines Perform basic math calculations for measurements, weights, and quantities during production tasks Support inventory management by handling raw materials, supplies, and finished products using mechanical knowledge or forklift operation when certified Conduct routine quality checks to identify any deviations or defects in products or processes Requirements Prior experience or familiarity with the food industry, food processing plants, or manufacturing environments is preferred but not mandatory Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP, and food safety practices is highly desirable Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform physical tasks safely Mechanical aptitude or basic understanding of machinery operation is a plus Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary in food production tasks Willingness to follow strict sanitation procedures and adhere to safety protocols at all times Embark on a rewarding career journey with us where your contributions directly impact the quality of our food products.
