Panel Production Associate Wage:
$18-$22/hour

Hours:
7:30am-5:30pm Monday-Friday; Will transition to an 8:30am start time after training is completed We're seeking a dependable Production Associate in Kansas City, MO to join a fast-paced manufacturing team in a stable, associate-to-hire role with consistent weekday hours. This position is ideal for someone with manufacturing or woodworking experience who takes pride in producing high-quality panel components, operating equipment, and working from blueprints while maintaining safety and precision. You'll support multiple departments, assist with materials and order fulfillment, and help keep production running efficiently in a team-driven environment. Panel Production Associate Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Operate panel processing equipment (e.g., edge banders, panel saws, routers) Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, or production drawings Measure, cut, and assemble wood or composite panels to precise specifications Perform quality checks on finished panels to ensure standards are met Monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Report any machinery malfunctions or production issues to the supervisor Follow all safety protocols and company policies Assist with inventory management of raw materials and finished goods Collaborate with team members to meet daily and weekly production targets Pull and stage materials, including vinyl, for production and order fulfillment Pick, pull, and prepare orders for will-call pickup and shipping Assist customers and team members with will-call orders as needed Serve as a floater, supporting different departments and tasks based on business needs Provide leadership support on the floor, acting as a team lead when needed to help guide workflow and ensure productivity
Panel Production Associate Requirements:
High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related training and experience Forklift experience preferred but willing to train Machine operator experience preferred but willing to train Previous experience in a manufacturing or woodworking environment Leadership skills or experience serving as a team lead preferred Continuous lifting or moving products from 5 pounds to 50 pounds by hand Continuous bending, stretching, and walking on cement floors Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements Familiarity with woodworking tools and machinery Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to multitask and adapt in a flexible, fast-paced environment Warehouse is not climate controlled Dress appropriately for different seasons Closed-toe shoes required
