6:00am-4:30pm (Mon-Thurs with some overtime Fri) QPS Employment Group has a great Press Operator position available at a company in O'Fallon, MO. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Press Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Follow all safe work procedures and general plant rules while performing the job.
• Maintain a well-organized, clean work area.
• Ensure the required parts and materials are available.
• Perform job tasks as outlined on the Production Training Outline for the job task being performed.
• Perform basic measurements and monitoring with caliper, micrometer, scale & gauges.
• Other duties as required.

Press Operator Requirements:

• Ability to talk, hear, see, and use hands/fingers to handle or feel.
• Ability to frequently walk or stand for long periods of time for up to 10 hours a day.
• Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, crawl, or kneel.
• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force to regularly lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. If greater than 50 lbs., will require assistance or the use of lifting equipment.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Reads and interprets documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals; fills out production reports.
• Adds, subtracts, multiplies and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; read and understand blueprints.
• Understands written, verbal or diagrammed instructions.
