This role is responsible for delivering hands-on training, coaching employees on manufacturing processes and equipment, and ensuring training programs align with operational and quality standards. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who enjoys working directly with employees on the production floor, can build credibility with a tenured workforce, and is passionate about helping others develop their skills. This position plays a key role in supporting operational excellence, safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Deliver hands-on training for manufacturing employees in a production environment. Facilitate new hire onboarding and skills development programs. Coordinate closely with Manufacturing and Operations leadership to identify training needs and support workforce development. Partner with Quality teams to ensure training content and execution align with established standards and procedures. Collaborate with Engineering, Buyers/Planners, and facility leadership to support operational initiatives and process changes. Support implementation of training related to equipment, manufacturing processes, safety procedures, and standard work instructions. Monitor employee progress and provide coaching, feedback, and retraining as needed. Assist with maintaining training records and ensuring compliance with company requirements. Support Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and FEM initiatives through employee training and engagement. Work alongside Corporate Instructional Design teams to execute and deliver facility-level training programs. QualificationsRequired Experience delivering training, coaching, or workforce development programs. Strong presentation and public speaking skills. Ability to train individuals and groups with varying levels of experience and technical knowledge. Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment and spending significant time on the production floor. Ability to learn manufacturing processes quickly through a structured onboarding and training program. Forklift certification or ability to obtain company certification. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Preferred Manufacturing training experience. Experience supporting production, operations, or industrial environments. Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, or process improvement initiatives. Familiarity with welding processes and manufacturing equipment.
