  • Full-time Van-Am Tool & Engineering is hiring Press Room Operators to join our manufacturing team in St.
Joseph, Missouri. This position is responsible for operating stamping press equipment, loading and unloading materials, inspecting parts, and supporting production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. No prior press room experience is required. We provide on-the-job training for motivated individuals who are dependable, safety-focused, and ready to build a career in manufacturing. Van-Am is an AS9100-certified manufacturer serving the aerospace, defense, and commercial industries. Our team takes pride in producing high-quality components while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Available Shifts:
Day Shift:
Monday-Thursday, 10-hour shifts
Weekend Shift:
Friday-Sunday, 12-hour shifts
Starting Pay:
$19.00
  • 22.
00 per hour, depending on experience 11% Shift Differential for
Weekend Shift Responsibilities:
Operate stamping press equipment according to established work instructions Load raw materials and unload finished parts during production runs Perform visual inspections to ensure quality and consistency Follow production instructions, safety requirements, and quality standards Package, stack, and move finished parts to designated locations Maintain a clean and organized work area Report equipment issues, quality concerns, or safety hazards promptly Support additional production activities and cross-training opportunities as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred Previous manufacturing, machine operation, or production experience is helpful but not required Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds Why Join Van-Am?
