IMMEDIATE OPENING
Production Operator Shift:
8am-4:30pm Monday•Friday Position Summary The Production Operator is responsible for manufacturing high-quality molded training products in a safe, efficient, and consistent manner. This position supports all aspects of production including mold preparation, material handling, polyurethane casting, demolding, trimming, finishing, assembly, packaging, and quality inspections. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Material Preparation & Casting Prepare molds for production by cleaning, inspecting, and applying mold release agents. Measure, mix, and process polyurethane materials according to established procedures. Operate dispensing and casting equipment. Monitor material temperatures, ratios, and processing conditions. Record production data and material usage as required. Production Operations Demold finished parts safely and efficiently. Trim flash and excess material from molded products. Perform sanding, finishing, and minor touch-up work as required. Assemble components and accessories according to work instructions. Package finished products for shipment. Quality Control Inspect parts for defects, dimensional accuracy, and cosmetic appearance. Identify and segregate non-conforming products. Follow quality standards and documented procedures. Report production issues and equipment concerns promptly.
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Strong attention to detail and quality. Dependable attendance and work ethic.
Preferred:
Manufacturing experience. Experience with molding, casting, plastics, rubber, or polyurethane products. Mechanical aptitude. Experience using hand and power tools. Skills and Competencies Attention to detail, quality focus, mechanical aptitude, problem solving, teamwork, communication, and time management. Working Conditions Manufacturing environment with required PPE. Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and handling of materials and finished goods. Performance Expectations Measured by product quality, output, safety, reliability, adherence to procedures, and teamwork. Compensation & Benefits Compensation based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include health, dental, life and vision insurance, paid time off and holiday pay.
