Suite Coordinator Job Description The Suite Coordinator supports daily manufacturing operations by ensuring materials, equipment, and production suites are fully prepared, organized, and compliant with established procedures. This role focuses on coordinating material flow, maintaining inventory and gowning supplies, supporting cross-functional teams, and upholding cleanliness and operational readiness in a GMP-regulated environment. Responsibilities Coordinate daily manufacturing activities to ensure material and operational readiness across production suites. Maintain gowning supplies in airlocks and production areas to support consistent access and compliance. Monitor and replenish suite-stocked materials, including items stored in blue bins, to prevent stockouts. Perform routine inventory checks, including hydroxide counts, and update tracking and documentation systems accurately. Ensure all required kits and materials are complete, properly labeled, and staged prior to use in production activities. Support the movement of buffers and materials across functional work areas in a timely and compliant manner. Inspect cold rooms regularly for expired materials, document findings, and escalate issues as needed. Review chain of custody reports and follow up on missing, delayed, or discrepant materials to maintain material traceability. Partner with supervisors and technicians to identify operational needs and coordinate appropriate support. Monitor production areas and coordinate the movement and staging of completed materials for downstream processes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including MAL/PAL and core spaces, in alignment with GMP expectations. Execute end-of-shift cleaning, organization, and basic maintenance tasks to ensure suites are ready for the next shift. Perform routine walkthroughs of the facility to identify, document, and communicate facility or process issues. Ensure training compliance by completing required trainings on time and adhering to standard operating procedures. Follow written procedures carefully, maintain high attention to detail, and escalate issues appropriately when needed. Essential Skills Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment. Experience in manufacturing, operations, or coordination roles, preferably in biopharmaceutical settings. Familiarity with suite-based operations and/or BAM processes. Experience with SAP or other ERP systems. Basic computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Office and tools such as Smartsheet or similar systems. Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively across functions. Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced production environment. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with supervisors, technicians, and other teams. Good reading comprehension and the ability to follow detailed written procedures and documentation requirements. High attention to detail and a strong commitment to following standard processes and GMP requirements. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and complete tasks with minimal supervision. Basic problem-solving skills and the ability to recognize and escalate issues appropriately. High school diploma or equivalent. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in biopharmaceutical or related manufacturing environments is preferred. Comfort working with inventory tracking systems and documentation in regulated environments. Ability to adapt to changing operational needs and support multiple work areas as required. Willingness to work in a cleanroom and core manufacturing environment with defined gowning and cleanliness requirements. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is based in a core manufacturing and cleanroom environment that requires full compliance with gowning procedures, including gowning up and down when entering and exiting controlled areas. To protect product integrity, certain personal items are not permitted, such as beards, fake eyelashes, artificial nails, nail polish, or any items that could compromise the product. The noise level in the core area is typically moderate to high, and headphones are not allowed to ensure safety and communication. The position follows a 3rd shift schedule of 8:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. on a 2-2-2-3 rotation. Work involves frequent movement through production suites, cold rooms, and material staging areas, and uses computer systems such as
SAP, ERP
tools, Microsoft Office, and Smartsheet or similar platforms for tracking and documentation. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Saint Louis, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
