About us Hederman Brothers is celebrating 125 years in business! With over 100 employees, we provide marketing collateral, direct mail programs, large format, special finishes, and web storefronts to customers across the United States. Please join our team as we continue to grow. Job Description Hederman Brothers is looking for a responsible, hard-working team player for a full-time position to help with our graphic/signage production and perform installations at the client's location. Between installations, individuals will assist in the production area doing various tasks. They will be responsible for all aspects of the physical production of graphics/signage, which includes preparing substrates and applying vinyl according to written instructions and under general direction. They will also be responsible for mounting and/or laminating prints, proofreading signs, and conducting quality assurance to ensure efficient production of accurate signs. The ideal candidate is a creative, self-motivated team player who can work in a fast-paced environment and is determined to make every project their absolute best. A willingness to travel with overnight stays is occasionally required.
Responsibilities:
Solid communication skills Ability to organize, multi-task, and prioritize Positive professional attitude Willing to train in aspects of sign and graphics installation Prepares substrates for application, which may include cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, and maintaining the substrates for vinyl application Performs quality assurance measures pre- and post-production Performs finishing operations such as laminating, encapsulating, and/or mounting of printed pieces Helps unload raw materials and cleans and maintains storage areas Works on different projects simultaneously Establishes and maintains effective team relationships with all support departments Follows all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes Loads and transports signage/graphics to the destination Prepares worksite by removing unwanted signage/graphics, preparing mounting surfaces, and ensuring all electrical sources are in order (if applicable) Cleans installation site Operate several machines, such as lift vehicles.
Qualifications and Skills:
Two years experience in a construction setting and installation (preferred) High school diploma or GED required Valid driver's license - A Must Pass a background check Able to work well under pressure to output high-volume, high-quality work Able to lift 50 or more pounds Able to use light-powered equipment Light metal fabrication experience is a plus
