Visiting Assistant Professor (Media Production)

The Department of Journalism and Media Studies in the College of Liberal Arts is accepting applications for its Visiting Assistant Professor (Media Production) position. Successful candidate's work must be grounded in communication theories about emerging media, industry transformation and society. Candidate will have an existing or emerging body of work recognized for its excellence in the academic and professional communities as well as an active agenda for continuing original and innovative contributors to the field and specific targets for external research support. The position requires a clear commitment to excellence in teaching, an active and productive research agenda and academic service to the university that will enable him or her to meet the criteria for promotion and tenure. Preforms other duties as assigned. Ph.D. required Candidate will be able to demonstrate effective teaching, capacity for significant creative research, technological expertise as well as applied professional experience in strategic communication.
