Job SummaryThe Production Technician \#1 is responsible for the safe operation of semi-bulk units while ensuring product quality, compliance with procedures, and efficient material handling. This role requires a strong focus on safety, quality control, and operational reliability while working rotating shifts with potential overtime.
Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate semi-bulk units in accordance with established procedures and safety standards. Perform quality control checks to ensure product meets specifications. Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as required. Load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently. Follow all safety policies, procedures, and job safety observations (JSOs). Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas. Identify and report equipment, quality, or safety concerns. Work collaboratively with Operations, Quality, and Maintenance teams.
Qualifications & RequirementsAbility to operate a forklift (previous certification a plus). Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely and frequently Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts 2 weeks on days and 2 weeks on night Willingness to work overtime as operational needs require. Strong attention to safety, quality, and procedural compliance. Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred. Standing, walking, climbing, lifting, and bending as required.
