General Production Worker

IMMEDIATELY HIRING FABRICATION HELPERS BURLINGTON, NC

$16/HOUR

MONDAY - FRIDAY

7am-3:30pm Responsibilities Safely and efficiently remove laser-cut metal parts from sheet material in the pop-out area. Inspect metal parts for defects, irregularities, or damage during removal and handling. Organize, stack, and stage parts according to job specifications and production requirements. Assist machine fabricators by supplying parts, packing completed parts, and supporting fabrication tasks as needed. Maintain a clean, orderly, and hazard-free work area on the shop floor. Communicate material, part quality, or equipment issues promptly to leadership. Follow all safety protocols, shop rules, and company procedures at all times. Support general labor and production activities to keep workflow running smoothly. Essential Skills Demonstrated strong work ethic and reliability in a production or general labor environment. Willingness to learn new tasks, processes, and equipment in a fabrication setting. Strong attention to detail when inspecting and handling parts. Ability to perform physically active work, including standing, walking, and handling metal parts throughout the shift. Capability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to safety procedures. Basic understanding of general production or general labor tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in general labor or general production work. Experience assisting machine fabricators or working in a fabrication shop. Experience in packing parts and organizing a shop floor or warehouse environment. Comfort working in a production setting with metal parts and fabrication equipment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burlington, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
