Job Purpose Production Associate is responsible for executing pre-planned manufacturing operations to produce products that meet quality and delivery requirements to support business targets Key Accountabilities Handle parts using manual means and machines to ensure parts meet quality requirements Perform manual deburr per pre-planned instructions to ensure parts meet quality requirements Operate airflow per pre-planned instructions to ensure parts meet quality requirements Operate heat treat furnace per pre-planned instructions to ensure parts meet quality requirements Perform assembly per pre-planned instructions to ensure parts meet quality requirements Operate Cutting Machine to pre-planned instructions to ensure parts meet quality requirements Operate Press per pre-planned instructions to ensure parts meet quality requirements Maintain equipment per preventive maintenance requirements to ensure reliable machine operation Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Minimum Educational Qualifications HS diploma or GED Minimum Experience 2-3 years of hands-on fabrication experience Other Job-Specific Skills Ability to work independently and take on new challenges and assignments Ability to interact/communicate effectively to all levels Self starter with ability to perform with minimal supervision Ability to problem solve, within area of expertise, at a high level Ability to learn and use multiple business system software Has mathematical skills and reading skills Competent in reading and understanding work instructions Working Conditions Climate-controlled production environment Regular exposure to the manufacturing areas which under certain circumstances require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields, mandatory hearing protection and safety shoes Ability to frequently stand, walk, and sit as well as regular use of hands, fingers, and arms Ability to lift up to 30 pounds What differentiates Honda and make us an employer of choice?
