Job Description
Only qualified Manufacturing Production Test Technician candidates located near the Durham North Carolina area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence.
Education
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3 to 5 years hands on experience with electronics or electromechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Experience using a multimeter and electronic diagnostic tools
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues
- Ability to follow detailed test procedures and documentationResponsibilities
- Perform functional testing of vial fill machines
- Validate performance accuracy safety and reliability
- Document results defects and fixes
- Ensure units meet quality and customer specifications
- Diagnose mechanical electrical and software issues
- Use schematics and diagnostic tools to identify failures
- Perform repairs calibrations and adjustments
- Collaborate with engineering and technical support teams
- Load software and execute firmware updates
- Configure machines per order requirements
- Verify accuracy of programmed settings and labeling
- Align work with production priorities and shipping schedules
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
- Provide process improvement feedback
- Assist in training new technicians
- Accurately record work in MES systems
- Follow all safety quality and standard work procedures
- Support continuous improvement and corrective action effortsAdditional Information
- Shift hours 2 pm to 10:30 pm with initial training on first shift
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Safety shoes required safety glasses provided
- Fast paced team oriented work environment
- Contract role with potential for extension or conversion
