Prep / Paint & Bandsaw Operator : ENTRY LEVEL

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Prep/Paint & Bandsaw Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for preparing materials, applying industrial and construction paint, and operating bandsaws to cut materials accurately and efficiently. Your expertise will contribute to the seamless production of high-quality products, ensuring safety, precision, and productivity at every step. Duties Operate bandsaws to cut various materials with precision according to specifications, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking using hand tools and power tools Apply industrial and construction-grade paint using airless paint spraying equipment or auto painting techniques to achieve smooth finishes Utilize basic math skills for measuring materials accurately with precision measuring instruments and perform quality checks on finished products Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards and lean manufacturing principles Experience Previous experience operating bandsaws in a manufacturing or construction setting is preferred Familiarity with industrial painting techniques including airless spray systems and auto painting is highly desirable Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding, and fabrication processes is a plus Knowledge of materials handling equipment such as forklifts and cranes is beneficial Understanding of machining processes, precision measurement instruments, and auto body repair techniques will enhance your effectiveness in this role Warehouse experience combined with knowledge of lean manufacturing practices will support your success in maintaining efficient workflows Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments are essential Join our team today to become a vital part of a thriving manufacturing operation where your skills will be valued, developed, and celebrated!
