As well as maintaining the Production Planning data and Spreadsheets.

Lead the Team on health, safety and production activities for ~20 associates including Assembly, Spring Room, and Warehouse associates (when needed). Ensure the production area of warehouse and its assigned inventory is managed in a safe, effective and efficient manner, including 6S strategies, daily cleaning assignments, safety audits, and proper documentation and reporting. Ensure that production planning aligns with business requirements and needed raw materials are stocked in a timely manner by collaborating with the Materials & Planning Team. Assist Production Supervisor in handling production related tasks including but not limited to receiving, cycle counting, and scrapping products. Lead and implement the full range of Lean Methods in manufacturing and administrative related areas. Delegate tasks and set deadlines for your team that are aligned with the achievement of assigned metrics. Monitor and lead the team in safety compliance, quality expectations, individual performance, and document and report potential shortfalls to management. Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with the team to implement. Provide ongoing training and development through providing feedback to team members in a positive and constructive manner and providing coaching to associates as needed for improvement.Cultivate a team focused environment:
Demonstrate value for the associates and their contributions, keep open communication, seek continuous improvement opportunities, solicit feedback, and show pride in execution. Resolve issues and conflicts and understand the "when" to escalate to Management. Ensure all work assignments are completed to the highest standard of quality in line with customer expectations. Provide updates to management each day on state of assigned workload. Coordinate with DC manager and Production Supervisor on all related onboarding and offboarding needs. Ensure newly hired associates complete all required training and report completion rates. Perform other duties or tasks as assignedWHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE
Associate's degree, preferred 3+ years' experience in a lead or supervisor role within a production or assembly function Competent Skills in Microsoft Office - Excel and Power Point Exhibit Company Core Values showing Consideration, Cooperation, Communication, Accountability, and Innovation Good communication skills Eye for detail and accuracy Reliable, with high integrity and strong work ethic Strong advocate for process compliance and high-quality results Ability to work as part of a team and partner with key stakeholders Proactive organizational skills Proven experience leading a team of 20-30 team members.
