Shift:
12-hour Swing Shift 2 weeks on 1st shift (7am - 7pm) & 2 weeks on 3rd shift (7pm - 7am) 14 scheduled days per month & will have every other weekend off! The manufacturing operator in Henderson will be charging, sampling, and discharging ball mills, charging feed tanks, spray drying powder, ball mill cleanouts, washing and screening mill media and will complete general housekeeping.
Duties:
1. Retrieve the proper feed materials. 2. Complete all paperwork and/or computer entry correctly and fully. 3.
Clean all the equipment:
powder hoppers, mixing equipment, blenders, hand tools, and material handling equipment. 4. Insure clean and safe workplace. 5. Set the mill timer for the prescribed milling time and the start and stop times must be recorded. 6. Sample the mill safely, with care that the sample represents the population. 7. Takes the sample to the lab and enters the data in the spreadsheet. 8. Monitor and maintain the dryer temperatures, pressures, flows, atmospheres, and record keeping. 9. Make labels and place them on the appropriate powder containers. 10. Weigh the finished powder, store it, record the storage location in SAP and move the powder as needed. 11. Clean all the equipment: powder hoppers, ball mills, screener, cooling unit, spray dryer, vacuum dryer, hand tools, and material handling equipment. 12. Assist in the enforcement of EHS and quality methodologies.
Requirements:
1. High School Diploma or GED 2. Must be able to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. 3. Must be able to safely lift at least 33 pounds. 4. Successfully pass the tow motor driving test. 5. Ability to perform basic trouble shooting on the equipment. 6. Must be able to read and understand work instructions, safety warning, batch sheets, and operating instructions with minimum direction.
