What is a Tinter?

The Tinter is responsible for adding and adjusting colorants to products to achieve precise color specifications. This role works with formulations, color standards, and production batches to ensure consistency and quality in finished products. The position plays a critical role in maintaining color accuracy, supporting customer requirements, and ensuring product quality across production.

What You Can Expect to Do as a
Tinter:
Add and adjust colorants to production batches based on formulas and specificationsMatch product colors to customer or standard color requirementsPerform color checks and make necessary adjustments to achieve desired resultsMaintain accurate records of color formulations and adjustmentsWork closely with production and quality teams to ensure consistencyEnsure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standardsHandle and store colorants and related materials properlyMaintain clean and organized work areas and equipmentTroubleshoot color-related issues and inconsistenciesSupport continuous improvement in tinting processesWhat We Are Looking For in a
Tinter:
High school diploma or equivalent required13 years of experience in manufacturing, color matching, or related roles preferredStrong attention to detail and ability to distinguish colors accuratelyAbility to follow formulas and detailed instructionsBasic math and measurement skillsAbility to work in a hands-on, fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsCommitment to safety and quality standardsGood communication and teamwork skills Why IP Corporation?
