Hickory, NC Temporary-to-hire opportunity with career growth and stability Weekly Pay with direct deposit or pay card When you work through The Reserves Network, you are eligible to enroll in dental, vision and medical insurance as well as 401K, direct deposit and our referral bonus program Job Description We are seeking a dependable Material Handler to support manufacturing operations by ensuring the safe and efficient movement of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished products throughout the facility. This role is responsible for supplying production lines, transporting inventory, and assisting with shipping and receiving activities. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, operating material handling equipment, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This position plays a key role in keeping production running smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Transport raw materials, pallets, corrugate, and packaging supplies to production lines in a timely manner Move finished goods and work-in-progress (WIP) materials to staging and warehouse storage areas Load and unload delivery trucks and inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality Use barcode scanners, computers, and inventory software to track and record inventory movement Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment while completing required safety inspections
Qualifications and Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 1 year of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling environments Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods Basic computer skills and experience using scanners or inventory management systems Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
