Job Description

EGGER Wood Products is seeking a dedicated Particleboard Production Operator to join our team. As a Particleboard Production Operator, you will be responsible for operating machinery, conducting quality checks, and collaborating with team members to ensure efficient production of particleboards. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to work effectively in a team, and a commitment to upholding safety and quality standards. RESPONSIBILITIES JOB FUNCTIONS
Job functions include but are not limited to the following. Operate and monitor high automated machinery involved in the production of particleboards. Collaborate with team members to optimize production workflow and efficiency. Troubleshoot and address any issues that may arise during the production process. Conduct regular quality checks to ensure particleboards meet specified standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the production area. Follow all Safety Rules and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's). Other duties as assigned.
SCHEDULE DEMANDS
Schedule:
12-hour rotating 7-7 swing shift (2-2-3) 2 weeks days & 2 weeks nights.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time up to 12-hours. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Reading computer screen or other electronic devices. Use of various office hand and electrical tools or equipment. Tolerate indoor and outdoor environments and extreme temperatures.
QUALIFICATIONS BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE
Experience in clear communication. Understanding and ability to work as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications and ability to learn. Experience with tools and machinery. Demonstrate ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Work efficiently and manage time effectively.
EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE
