Third Shift 10:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. overtime and weekends as required.

$23.64/hour plus $1.00/hour shift differential
Position Summary:
Perform all production tasks involved in pad and sub-assembly (WIP) production. Responsibilities also include inspecting, packaging, forklift driving, and assisting other departments and workstations when required.
Essential Functions:
Adhere to safety procedures at all times including wearing personal protective equipment, forklift driving, handling of production/warehouse equipment and tools, and use proper lifting techniques. Perform safety inspections on machinery as required. Maintain forklift driving certification. Adhere to all Good Manufacturing (GMP), International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and food safety compliance standards and participate in audit proceedings as necessary. Collaborate with the quality technicians to assure product quality specifications are met including the documentation of pertinent data electronically or manually in daily logs, journals or quality control (QC) / manufacturing modules. Establish and maintain positive relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and managers by communicating in a respectful and professional manner. Deal with difficult situations with tact, resourcefulness, and respect. Respond to requests and provide pertinent information to achieve and maintain a positive team environment.
Line Operator:
Through specialized knowledge and resourcefulness achieve on-grade product. Accurately weigh raw materials according to furnish sheet requirements; determine line settings from previous production runs of the same grade (amperage, temperature, speed, etc.) and enter requisite data into the manufacturing module; refine batches per furnish sheet instructions; frequently monitor thickness and communicate with QC and supervisor regarding on-grade issues; frequently check for visual defects such as pinholes or contamination promptly notifying converting operators of issues.
Pulper Operator:
Stage specified RM and complete pulping operation within the time prescribed for each batch. Accurately inspect raw materials, plastic pallets, and broke bins for defects; accurately weigh broke and pulp per furnish sheets; assist line operator by accurately weighing, dumping, mixing and issuing DE in the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
Converting:
Properly install dies with correct set up and inspect for defects; inspect each cavity cut at the beginning of each run and shift for cleanliness, proper measurement and cut quality; inspect test cuts for proper measurement and cut quality; inspect each pad/sheet for visual defects and contamination while blowing dust and debris from product. Package product as specified in the production work order in accordance to established work order procedures and ensure product label information is accurate. Book finished goods and broke into the ERP system. Other Duties Assist with other manufacturing and plant operations as needed. Experience and Education Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum two years production experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA's) Required Excellent communication and people skills. Ability to multi-task and work in an organized manner. Self-motivated and ability to work without direct supervision. Ability to perform job-related reading, writing, and mathematics. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to: Stand for extended periods during machine operation. Walk between workstations and throughout the facility. Perform repetitive tasks such as reaching, bending, stooping, or twisting. Use hands for writing, keyboarding, and operating equipment. Lift, carry, or push up to 65 pounds. Hand grip up to 20 pounds. Maintain manual dexterity and eye hand coordination to operate production equipment and forklifts. Maintain adequate hearing to detect alarms, equipment sounds, and verbal instructions in a noisy environment. Maintain visual acuity to read paper documents, computer screens, and inspect products.
Working Conditions Environment:
Primarily works in a manufacturing facility with exposure to noise, dust, moving machinery, and temperature variations.
Safety Requirements:
Must adhere to all company safety policies, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and comply with OSHA and facility safety standards.
