About the Role Badass Patches is a fast growing, veteran owned company serving military units, first responders, and organizations nationwide with custom gear. We are known for exceptional customer service, fast turnaround times, and deep expertise in specialized unit requirements. As we expand into our new Raleigh warehouse, we are hiring an Operations and Production Specialist to support day to day fulfillment and help us build and scale our in house production capabilities. This is an operations first role, with customer service as a secondary responsibility. You will play a key role in keeping orders moving efficiently while helping us bring more production in house over time. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on work, solving problems, and growing with a company entering its next phase. What You'll Do Operations and Fulfillment (Primary Focus) Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately and efficiently Support inventory management, restocking, and cycle counts Help maintain an organized and efficient warehouse workspace Assist with returns, replacements, and reshipments Jump in wherever needed to keep daily operations running smoothly Production Support and Growth (Evolving Responsibility) Assist in launching and scaling in-house production capabilities (heat-pressing, UV printing, lasers, embroidery, etc.) Learn and operate equipment over time with training provided Help organize production workflows and maintain quality standards Contribute ideas to improve efficiency as production volume increases Customer Service and Order Management (Secondary) Support customer communication as needed including email, order updates, and issue resolution Assist with order details, proofs, and approvals during busy periods Help ensure a smooth experience from order to delivery Process Improvement and Team Support Identify inefficiencies and suggest workflow improvements Support bulk orders, special projects, and high priority customers (This role will evolve as we grow. Priorities may shift and responsibilities could expand over time with performance leading to increased compensation) What We're Looking For 2 to 3 years of experience in operations, fulfillment, warehouse, or ecommerce Strong attention to detail and reliability in execution Comfortable working in a hands on, fast paced environment Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt as needs change Willingness to learn new systems and production equipment Ability to lift 50lbs Ability to stand for long periods of time Bonus Experience (Not Required) Experience with production equipment such as heat press, printing, laser, or embroidery Familiarity with Shopify, ShipStation, Hubspot, MissiveApp or similar tools Customer service experience Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop Background in military, tactical, or first responder communities Location and Schedule On-site in Raleigh, NC based on business needs 20 initially during training to 40 hours per week Compensation and Benefits 18 to 22 dollars per hour based on experience Bonus opportunities On the job training including production equipment Healthcare Benefits 401k Retirement Plan Why Badass Patches ?
