View More Jobs Production / Logistics Associates (STATESVILLE) 2nd & 3rd Shift Statesville, NC, United States Be the First to Apply Job Description Major Responsibilities  Ability to work independently and efficiently in handling assigned responsibilities.  Perform machine and quality checks as outlined on work instructions.  Must understand and follow the operator instructions for the area.  Must inspect in process parts and finished product to insure compliance with standards.  Must be able to effectively communicate process/product problems.  Requires good communication with team members.  Requires shift work and overtime.  Punctual presence (attendance and timeliness) on assigned work days.  Must be alert, working in an area of automation and constant moving equipment.  Must inspect incoming parts and outgoing shipments to insure compliance with Quality standards.  Must be able to operate all material handling equipment in an alert, safe and effective manner.  Processing of freight bills, packing slips, receiving reports, bill of lading, and other related receiving and shipping forms.  Accurate input of all transaction's related to inventory into computer system. Minor Responsibilities  Requires teamwork and participation of company activities such as IATF16949, ISO9001, ISO14001 and Employee Involvement.  Requires effective communication and involvement with team members and internal departments.  Understand and comply with company policies and procedures.  Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and perform duties with minimal supervision.  Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.  Maintain 5's standards. Physical Requirements  Requires work in an environment with limited movement.  Requires good hand/eye coordination due to the repetitive nature of the job  Requires constant standing and moving 8-12 hours per day  Must be able to constantly lift and carry up to 35 lbs.  Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and kneel.  Must be able to apply up to 66lbs push/pull force unassisted.  Must be able to reach overhead.
