Position Type:
Temp to Hire Job Description Join Kelly Services as a Production Operator and help ensure the efficient feeding and grading of products at an acceptable production speed. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Operate safely and follow all safety rules and guidelines. Stack units neatly and correctly. Feed the front end of the moulder. Grade products coming out of the moulder. Track and record quantities rejected at the feed end. Separate defective wood for repair and rework as required.
Rotate across all moulder positions:
feed end, grading, and stacking. Clearly mark all units and complete unit tags accurately. Support all preventative maintenance activities. Maintain cleanliness in your area/department at the end of each shift. Required Qualifications & Skills Effective oral and written communication skills. Able to read a tape measure. Self-motivated with good hand-eye coordination. Preferably one year of manufacturing experience. Able to lift 35 lbs and stand for up to 10 hours. Comfortable with repetitive movements (hand, wrist, arm). Able to walk, bend, twist, stoop, and climb stairs. Willing to work in environments exceeding 95°F and handle varying noise levels. Must tolerate exposure to wood dust and aluminum (no excessive hazards).
