Perform other duties across the plant as needed as directed by supervision or managementPay rate: $16/hr with a $1.00 shift differential
Ability to bend, squat, twist, push/pull, reach and stand is requiredAbility to consistently lift at least 50 pounds, 8 to 12 hours a day is requiredAbility to work in hot & cold environment is requiredBe able to work extended hours and weekend based on business needs is requiredWilling & able to work various positions in various departments (cross-trained) is requiredPerform tasks requiring repetitive motion and stand for long periods is requiredAble to comply with all company policies and procedures, including all safety regulations is requiredAbility to follow Supervisors instructions/directions as given is requiredPossess the following skills: problem solving, teamwork, communication and initiative.

ABOUT THE
ROLEThe Production Associate 2 employee at Cornerstone Building Brands Aperture Solutions is responsible for various windows & doors assembly operations while ensuring we Safely make a Quality product and minimize waste/ cost, so it can be delivered on time to customers. Also, responsible for working with a sense of urgency while maintaining the flow of material throughout the plant by performing the following duties:WHAT YOU'LL DO
Operate hand tools as required and assemble, lift, pick and pack productsSupport and participate in Employee Engagement activities.Follow defined clean-up times.

9pm-7am M-ThQualificationsWHAT YOU'LL NEED
Ability to read a tape measure as well as read and interpret fractions and decimalsAbility to read at least minimum word and number recognition/Visual CuesOperate power tools with dexterity, basic operations, and knowing when to change PPEIdentify hazards while understanding station knowledge of safety hazards/protocols/PPEVariations- having knowledge of measurement standards and tolerancesFollow instruction and Standard Work while frequently referencing Standard work instructionsKnowledge of product defects specifically to their workstationQuality Recognition In station quality requirements/CTQCommunicate Effectively by actively Listening, Explain Clearly & Accurately, Ask Questions, Share Important Info.
