Manufacturing Production Assembly Technician-KBE Wilmington, NC Job Details Full-time 3 days ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Flexible spending account Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Mechanical assembly Schematics Ohmmeter Safety standards in production Process improvement Voltmeter Quality standards in production Technical skills instruction Manufacturing Entry level Cross-functional communication Full Job Description Perform all duties as assigned in accordance with Sturdy Corporation Safety and Quality procedures. Identify and report hazards immediately when encountered. Participate in accident prevention programs and processes. Assemble the various assemblies, sub-assemblies, and finished products following the established Operator Work Instructions. Operate the various production assembly equipment and test systems in accordance with Operator Work Instructions and Safety procedures. Work with the Manufacturing Engineering group to identify assembly and/or process issues and participate in creating required improvement plans. Cross train in all areas of the manufacturing and assembly process. Train other workers in the manufacturing and assembly processes as required. Communicate effectively with Supervisors, Manufacturing Engineers and other team members Understand and complete Shop Floor paperwork to ensure proper documentation of the assembly and testing processes are maintained All other tasks as assigned Qualifications Ability to work in a team environment to ensure manufacturing and quality requirements are achieved Ability to read and follow Work Instructions Ability to read and understand Engineering Drawings (Mechanical Drawings, wiring diagrams and basic schematics) Ability to use a Volt-Ohm meter for both AC and DC circuits An understanding of systemic problem solving and how it is used in Manufacturing Ability to work daily with overtime, as needed. Ability to perform precise, hand focused tasks Desire to succeed in a fast-paced environment and a willingness to do what it takes to complete assignments on time with a high level of quality Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
