Basket Loader Day Shift

Basket Loader - Day Shift Hastings, NE Position Overview Lawrence Industries, Inc. is looking for a dependable and hardworking Basket Loader to join our heat treating team on day shift. This role plays a key part in keeping production moving efficiently by loading and unloading metal parts into baskets and fixtures for heat treat processing. The ideal candidate works well in a fast paced environment, takes pride in doing things right, and understands the importance of consistency and teamwork in manufacturing. Key Responsibilities Load and unload metal parts into heat treat baskets and fixtures Prepare loads for furnace processing according to work instructions Assist furnace operators with moving product through production Use forklifts, carts, and material handling equipment safely Identify and separate parts by job and process requirements Maintain clean and organized work areas Follow all company safety procedures and production standards Communicate with team members and supervisors to keep workflow moving efficiently Qualifications Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred but not required Ability to work in a fast paced production environment Forklift experience is a plus but willing to train the right person Strong attention to detail and reliability Good attendance and willingness to learn Team oriented mindset with a strong work ethic Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 60 lbs Ability to stand and move throughout the shift Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment around heat and machinery Work Schedule Full-time position Day Shift Approximately 40 hours per week with overtime opportunities available Compensation & Benefits $15-$19 per hour depending on experience Health insurance benefits Paid time off and holidays Stable full-time hours On-the-job training and advancement opportunities
