This position helps maintain a safe, clean, and efficient production environment while assisting operators and team members to meet quality and productivity goals.
Responsibilities:
Assist production personnel with daily manufacturing and packaging operations. Supports the safe and efficient operation of punch presses and die equipment by providing material handling, die change assistance, equipment cleaning, scrap removal, and general production support Assist with loading and unloading dies using approved procedures and equipment Move raw materials, work-in-process items, and finished goods throughout the facility using approved material-handling equipment. Follow all safety procedures, GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and company policies. Assist with changeovers, setup, and teardown of production equipment. Follow all lockout/tagout (LOTO), machine guarding, and safety procedures. Accurately complete production and housekeeping documentation as required. Perform other duties as assigned to support production operations.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED preferred. Manufacturing, stamping, metal forming, or press shop experience preferred. Ability to safely work around heavy industrial machinery. Basic understanding of manufacturing safety practices. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
