Immediately SUMMARY:
This position is primarily responsible for performing assembly and measurement of very small mechanical components. The small size of the parts often requires the use of magnification and tweezers to complete assemble. Ability to use a drop indicator is required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assemble small parts using magnification and tweezers.
  • Measure critical dimensions to ensure conformance to customer blueprints using a drop indicator.
  • Able to read and follow procedures. Ability to read blueprints is a plus.
  • Identify non-conforming parts and sort accordingly.
  • Complies with the company's quality assurance standards.
  • Adheres to company policies and standards.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
Below are the ideal characteristics of a successful candidate: Previous experience in mechanical assembly is preferred but not required. Ability to sit for extended periods of time while using tweezers and magnification . Must be able to focus on small parts for majority of the working day. Ability to operate a drop indicator to measure small components. Good manual dexterity
