Immediately SUMMARY:
This position is primarily responsible for performing visual inspection on finished product using a microscope as the critical final step of production.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Inspect small parts using a microscope and drop gauge to measure critical dimensions to ensure conformance to customer blueprints.
  • Identify non-conforming parts and sort accordingly.
  • Identify quality trends in real time.
  • Documents quality assurance activities accurately.
  • Complies with the company's quality assurance standards.
  • Adheres to company policies and standards.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
Below are the ideal characteristics of a successful candidate: Previous experience as inspector , in quality control, or mechanical assembly strongly preferred . Experience with microscopes strongly preferred. Ability to sit while using a microscope for extended periods of time is required . Must be able to focus on small parts for majority of the working day. Ability to operate a drop indicator to measure small components. Good manual dexterity
