Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and adaptable Manufacturing Production Floater to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this versatile role, you will provide essential support across various production areas, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high-quality standards. Your flexibility will help keep our manufacturing facility running efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our production processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while supporting multiple departments as needed. Duties
  • Assist with the assembly, engraving and packaging of data logging devices.
  • Operate various production machinery and equipment as needed.
  • Assist with receiving as needed.
  • Report any quality issues to the production supervisor and assist in troubleshooting.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Ensure products meet quality standards and company quality policies.
  • Help and assist with inventory levels by tracking and reporting stock shortages to the production manager.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of materials and finished products.
  • Provide support to different departments as needed, including shipping, receiving, and machine shop such as deburring/finishing.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements.
  • All other duties as assigned by management.
Skills Manufacturing facility experience with an understanding of assembly processes Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues and perform minor repairs Hands-on experience with hand tools, is highly desirable Ability to adapt quickly to different tasks and work well in a team-oriented environment Excellent attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met consistently Knowledge of safety procedures related to manufacturing environments and equipment operation If you're interested, we'd love to hear from you.
