Machine Operator Direct Hire | Berlin, NJ Immediately Hiring We are immediately hiring a Machine Attendant/Operator to join a premier industrial manufacturing company in Berlin, NJ . This is a direct-hire opportunity with long-term stability, structured pay increases, and strong advancement potential. No prior experience required — motivated, reliable, and safety‑minded candidates will be trained. Shift & Pay 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM AND 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Rotating schedule (28-day cycle): Approx. 14 working days per month Rotation includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Pay:

$20.50/hour Pay raises every 6 months Job Summary The Machine Attendant supports high-volume manufacturing operations by monitoring and operating packaging and production equipment, performing quality checks, and ensuring safe, efficient production. This role supports the manufacturing of fiberglass building insulation used in residential and commercial applications. Responsibilities Operate and monitor packaging and manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently Observe machine performance and production flow; make basic adjustments as needed Perform routine quality checks to ensure product meets specifications Identify and assist with troubleshooting minor equipment or process issues Follow all safety standards, SOPs, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Handle, stage, and move raw materials and finished products Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Communicate production status and issues to team members and leadership Properly wear and utilize required PPE at all times Adapt to rotating shifts and maintain reliable attendance Required Skills & Qualifications Strong interest in manufacturing or industrial work Ability to work safely around heavy machinery and moving equipment Comfortable in non‑climate‑controlled environments (hot, cold, dusty, noisy) Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures Strong work ethic, reliability, and consistent attendance Physically capable of standing, walking, and working on uneven surfaces Willingness to wear PPE (steel‑toed shoes, hearing/eye protection, gloves, hard hat) Open to rotating 12‑hour shifts Preferred Qualifications Manufacturing, production, warehouse, or construction experience Familiarity with GMP environments Prior work in physically demanding roles Willingness to work around chemicals while following strict safety protocols Interest in long-term career growth within manufacturing Why Work Here? Employees work around heavy machinery, industrial ovens, and mobile equipment. Conditions may include high heat or cold, dust, noise, vibration, fumes, and uneven surfaces. PPE is required at all times, and some areas may require respirators or dust masks. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Berlin, NJ.
