Job Description

About the Role Operates paper and nonwoven conversion equipment, including machinery and palletizers, to manufacture hygiene products in compliance with established specifications and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). As a key member of the shift team, the Machine Operator III is responsible for optimizing machine performance, achieving KPI targets, and maintaining accurate production data and reporting. This role serves as a subject matter expert, demonstrating advanced mechanical aptitude and the ability to confidently communicate machine performance, issues, and improvements to the team and leadership to support efficient and reliable operations.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday 7AM to 3:30PM What You Will Do An Employee with uncompromised commitment to our I Care journey which ensures a safe, healthy, and sustainable work environment. Work within Essity safety standards with a responsibility for others too Run the machine and watch the process and if necessary, adjust according to Essity Continuous Improvement Systems. Be able to become well verse with the equipment. Consult with Team Leader or skilled operators if required. Or der and prepare raw materials / or products for palletizing and install them on the machine according to Standard Operating Procedures Maintain an adequate communication with previous and next shift as well as with other persons involved in running the machine Maintain an optimal housekeeping situation Support others in operating activities Secure the quality level of the products by regular checking against the product specification rejecting or blocking if necessary Complete all required documentation and data files during production Strong mechanical aptitude; can perform advanced adjustments and changeovers independently. Be able to coach and train other. Who You Are High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 5 + years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with full responsibility for equipment operation, change overs, troubleshooting and machine KPIs. Strong mechanical aptitude Demonstrates the ability to lead and coach others Excellent communication skills Experience with machine loss analysis and performance monitoring, be able to understand and explain KPI's, and equipment performance. Ability to train and mentor other operators Experience participating in continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving processesSkills:

Us Compensation and Benefits:
Starting pay range: $28 to $30 per hour + full benefits + Bonuses. This position offers a structured progression of salary increases as employees advance into the machine operator role.
