Job Description

Job Summary:
Manufacturing Support Specialist provides support for manufacturing and packaging to ensure batch manufacturing requirements are fulfilled as planned. The Manufacturing Support Specialist coordinates all supporting resources (e.g. materials, documentation, etc.) to facilitate batch manufacturing as per plan. The Manufacturing Support Specialist is responsible for data entry in SAP and tracking databases. The Manufacturing Support Specialist will directly report to Manager of Operations Support.
Reporting Relationships:
This position has no direct reports
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage documentation for manufacturing / packaging Request necessary documents (e.g batch records, protocols, lab results etc.) as per the plan Manage materials for manufacturing / packaging Check material availability per production plan on daily basis Allocate / Reserve material to production orders & send material request to warehouse as per production plan Check material received from warehouse and confirm physical inventory with SAP Return balance material to warehouse. Perform material related activity in SAP as needed. Data entry for batch tracking Monitor all manufacturing / packaging requirements Monitor production outputs & generate monthly, quarterly, & yearly production reports Monitor manufacturing / packaging to avoid delays and down-time Additional Responsibilities ( as needed ): Assist warehouse activities, if required (e.g. label affix, inventory verification, outbound shipping, etc.) Assist in compliance related activities (e.g., training, deviation / OOS investigations, CAPA, Change Controls, etc.) Assist in batch record review Assist in document preparation (e.g. protocols, batch records, etc.) All the other job duties as assigned by supervisor.
Specialized Skills and Knowledge:
Associates Degree preferred with a minimum of 1 year of experience Experience with SAP or other Mfg. software Experience in pharmaceutical industry preferred Computer skills, ability to use mfg. software systems Operate with strict adherence to SOPs and cGMPs. Good dexterity and eye hand coordination. Good written & oral communication skills in

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is frequently required to walk; sit; use hands; talk; and hear. Compensation and Benefits Compensation:
This is a non-exempt position that has a starting pay of $25.50 per hour. This pay represents the base hourly rate. In addition, this position is eligible for an annual bonus which aligns to both individual and company performance.
