If you have experience working with recipes/ formulas or this sounds fun to you, we are looking for a positive team player, a can-do attitude, and competence. We will train you. Natural skincare company is seeking a part time production worker to join our team. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, be on your feet for up to 8 hours, move through full range of motion, and have basic computer skills. This is a physically demanding job, much like an industrial kitchen. Please only apply if this works for you. The successful candidate will be responsible for the production of various products according to recipes and instructions, maintaining quality standards, ensuring the timely delivery of finished products, and recording all batches accurately as per our procedure. TLDR:
Make skincare products by following recipes, clean up, stay organized, work with a cool team. The Nitty Gritty:
Measure and mix raw materials to prepare batches according to specific recipes and instructions, including lifting up to 50 lbs on a regular basis Operate equipment such as mixers, wax melters, blenders, scales, and powder automation to accurately measure, mix ingredients, and fill products; this includes being able to stand for up to 8 hours while completing these tasks Keep detailed records of production, including batch numbers, ingredient lot numbers, weights, and other relevant information often via computer Clean and maintain equipment and work areas to ensure a safe and sanitary production environment; ensure that all materials are properly labeled and stored in the correct location Maintain a clean and organized warehouse with the assistance of the team Follow all safety and health guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members to ensure that production goals are met and any issues are addressed promptly, both in person and over email Assist the team in finishing packaging products including (but not limited to) lidding, adding stickers, labeling, etc. Are you our perfect candidate? Reliable and consistent. Very good English, both speaking and writing. Ability to lift 50+lbs, remain on your feet for full 8 hours shifts, and move through a full range of motion is required for this position A positive upbeat attitude and willingness to learn are required Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred, perfect for those with commercial kitchen/ bakery experience Knowledge of basic math and measurement principles Ability to read and follow written instructions and recipes Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and interpersonal skills If you like to move quickly and get things done, this would be a great position for you HOURS/ BENEFITS
