Production Worker

Our client, a furniture manufacturing company, is looking for a Panel Saw Operator to join their team in Maywood, NJ . In this role, you will be responsible for accurately cutting wood and materials using a panel saw machine in accordance with production specifications, work orders, and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a panel saw machine to cut materials accurately according to work orders and specifications Read and interpret cut lists, production schedules, blueprints, and measurements Measure, mark, and verify dimensions before and after cutting to ensure accuracy Inspect materials for defects and ensure all finished cuts meet quality standards Safely load and unload materials onto the panel saw throughout the shift Stack, organize, and label finished materials for downstream production or shipment Follow all safety procedures and company policies at all times Assist with general production and warehouse duties as needed

Requirements:

Previous experience operating a panel saw or similar cutting equipment required Ability to read a tape measure accurately and perform basic math calculations Experience reading work orders, diagrams, or blueprints preferred Experience with Homag Sawteq S200 is a plus but not required Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality English proficiency required
