Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Sanitation/Manufacturing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing sanitation and production. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Equipment Cleaning and Sanitization Load and unload items from machines, carts, and dollies for cleaning and sanitization. Responsible for cleaning and sanitization of production equipment and accessories after their use. Stores clean, sanitized, and unused equipment in clean environment for next time use. Keeps accurate sanitation records on file with management. This includes equipment logbooks and production records. Affixes status stickers to equipment and areas indicating the status of their cleaning and sanitization. Production areas and Warehouse Cleaning and Sanitization Keeps production areas and warehouse doors, windows, floors, walls, ceilings, racking and fixtures free of dirt, dust and other particles on a daily basis. Deep cleans the doors, windows, floors, walls, ceilings, racking and fixtures on a monthly basis or as needed. Disposes of trash into the appropriate trash and recycle bins on a timely basis. Keeps accurate cleaning and sanitation records on file with management. This includes area logs. Chemical Ensures OSHA compliance with chemical usage and that cleaning agents are properly used. Monitors the cleaning chemicals to ensure containers are properly labeled and that they are stored in a secure location. Ensures compliance with the company's personnel protective equipment guidelines. General Organizes and maintains systematic storage of material. Works with QC on cleaning verification methods and techniques. Identifies problems and develops appropriate solutions. Constantly seeks ways to improve operations. Ensure conformance to product specifications, cGMP and safety regulations. Locate opportunities for continuous improvement. Reports issues or problems with production to immediate supervisor. Assists in batching of raw materials for specific products. Assist in maintenance of production equipment. Assist in set-up and operations of Manufacturing /Production equipment and lines. Qualifications High school degree or equivalent. Sanitation Certification and/or 3 year experience a plus. Working knowledge of cGMP's a plus. HACCP certification a plus. Further qualifications a plus. A keen eye for detail. Responsible and trustworthy. Ability to work autonomously and under pressure. Computer knowledge.
