1st shift Food Production - Food Manufacturer (35079)

A leading international food manufacturer is currently seeking a 1st Shift Production Staff member to assist the production manager at their Piscataway, NJ site. The ideal candidate will have previous food production experience. This is a full time, direct hire position. •Tuesday-Saturday shift, Sunday and Monday off. •1st Shift Production Staff member

Key Responsibilities:

Patrol production lines and GMP areas regularly. Monitor and ensure operators follow all procedures, SOPs, and SSOPs. Report abnormal situations and line stoppages promptly to the supervisor. Communicate production losses and stoppages using Microsoft Teams. Coordinate with Maintenance for equipment issues. Collaborate with QC Department Review daily production records and report abnormalities to the supervisor. Help ensure completion of the daily production schedule; report any delays. Assist in onboarding new employees, including training video setup and documentation. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. 1st Shift Production Staff member

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong communication skills and dependability. Ability to understand and follow company policies, SOPs, and SSOPs. Ability to work in temperature controlled environment (hot, humid and cold) Knowledge of production processes and related equipment. Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. Physically able to stand/walk for 70% and sit for 30% of the shift.
