Production Helper Job Description We are seeking reliable, energetic Production Packers/Palletizers to join our team on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy staying active, working in a fast-paced food-production environment, and being part of a team dedicated to maintaining smooth operations. Responsibilities Pack finished snack products according to company standards. Build and wrap pallets for shipment. Inspect products for quality and accuracy. Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe. Support production flow by following instructions from line leads and supervisors. Essential Skills Experience in packing, production, and inventory. Spanish-speaking ability required for effective communication. Ability to lift 40-50 lbs. Comfortable with bending, standing, and squatting. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift. Comfort with constant standing, bending, and squatting. Ability to follow instructions and work at a steady pace. Work Environment Work hours are 11pm-7am, Sunday through Thursday, in a fast-paced and deadline-driven setting to support overnight production and shipping. The well-lit warehouse has moderate to high noise levels from machinery and forklifts. Temperature varies by area, with some zones being cooler (storage) and others warmer (near ovens or production lines). The facility follows GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP food safety protocols with daily sanitation routines and strict hygiene standards. The team culture is collaborative and supportive, with clear communication across production, shipping, and quality control departments. Supervisors are on-site to provide guidance, assign tasks, and ensure safety compliance. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Piscataway, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
