Allen Flavors, Inc. is currently seeking a dedicated Production Associate to contribute to our operations in our South Plainfield production facility. As a Production Associate, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing processes, ensuring the quality and efficiency of our beverage formulations.

Responsibilities:

Operate Basic Manufacturing Equipment:

Engage with fundamental manufacturing machinery to support production activities effectively. Introduction to

Batching:

Learn and assist in the batching process, a critical step in our production workflow.

Recognition of Hazardous Materials:

Gain knowledge and understanding of identifying hazardous materials to maintain a safe working environment.

Raw Material Lot Tracking and Location:

Familiarize yourself with raw material inventory tracking and its proper storage within our facilities.

Inspect Finished Products:

Conduct inspections of finished products to uphold quality standards, ensuring compliance with weight specifications and presentation requirements.

Maintain Cleanliness and Organization:

Take responsibility for the cleanliness and organization of the department, contributing to a safe and efficient workspace. Assist with

Labor and Cleaning Tasks:

Support general labor tasks and cleaning activities as directed by your manager or supervisor.

Implement Company Certified Programs:

Understand and adhere to various company-certified programs such as HACCP, NSF, SQF, Food Defense, and Food Safety programs as necessary for operational excellence. Other Duties as

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience in the flavor production industry a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to follow safety protocols and guidelines. Ability to communicate effectively and work cross functionally with teams. Must be able to consistently lift 50 lbs. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
