KD Printer Sofidel - 2.6 Las Vegas, NV Job Details 12 hours ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Qualifications Safety protocol adherence Word embeddings High school diploma or GED Productivity software Manufacturing Full Job Description Sofidel Tissue of Las Vegas (89030) is a subsidiary of the Sofidel Group, one of the leading manufacturers of paper for hygienic and domestic use worldwide. We are currently seeking a KD Printer to join our team. Key Responsibilities include but may not be limited to: Ensure print quality is aligned with workmanship standards (i.e. clear and legible) Enter quality checks into computer and take samples to Quality department Capable of identifying defects in equipment, print mats, and raw materials Coordinate with Shift manager, Raw Materials Coordinator, Scheduler, Asset Leader and Procurement Specialist with any discrepancy or shortages with blanks and printed KD's Document any quality issues with the KD's and report to Quality department and box vendor Communicate with the Maintenance Planners on level of cleaner supply, state of printing plates and the Raw Material Coordinator on level of ink supply. Cleaning of Sumps weekly Blowdown and clean-up of facility areas Coordinate with KD Printer Driver Read schedules and plan weeks production Assist with other production lines Write work orders Coordinate with Shift Manager to schedule additional support
Requirements:
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) Microsoft Word & Microsoft Office proficiency Self-motivated and self-directed Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment Ability to work well with other team members or assistants Ability to read, write, and respond to emails in a professional manner
Work Environment:
Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required in certain areas. Maintain a safe and orderly work area. Participate in meetings and work groups to facilitate communication and problem-solving.
