In this energetic role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of advanced machinery to produce high-quality components and products. Your expertise in machine programming, setup, and troubleshooting will ensure smooth production flows, efficiency, and safety. A strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude are essential for success in this role. Duties Operate and monitor various manufacturing machines including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, flexo presses, and press brake machines to produce precision parts. Program and adjust CNC equipment using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files, CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software, and CNC programming techniques to meet specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and materials specifications to ensure accurate fabrication. Conduct quality control checks using calipers, micrometers, precision measuring instruments, and other tools to verify dimensions and tolerances. Handle materials safely within the factory environment using forklifts and other materials handling equipment; assist with packaging and assembly line tasks as needed. Maintain machine operation logs, troubleshoot equipment issues with Fanuc controls or programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and perform routine preventive maintenance. Support fabrication processes such as welding, tooling setup, and fabrication of parts using hand tools or specialized machinery. Ensure compliance with safety protocols by wearing appropriate PPE and adhering to factory safety standards at all times. Skills Proficiency in operating CNC machinery including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, flexo presses, and press brake machines. Experience with Fanuc controls, PLC programming, CAM programming, and blueprint reading for precise manufacturing tasks. Mechanical knowledge of machining processes such as stamping, welding, fabrication, and assembly line operations. Skilled in using precision measurement tools like calipers and micrometers; familiar with GD&T standards for quality assurance. Ability to interpret technical drawings using CAD software like SolidWorks or similar programs. Strong understanding of materials handling equipment including forklifts; capable of safely moving raw materials and finished goods within the factory. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to machining tolerances, and process adjustments.
