Job Description
The Production Floater plays a key role in supporting multiple departments within the manufacturing process. This position requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to teamwork. The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, and eager to build a long-term career in a dynamic production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble parts into complete units or subassemblies using hand and small power tools. Build pump flanges, ball valves, isolation couplings, and other support products. Inspect components for proper fit and finish; report deviations to supervisors. Assist with TIG welding for valve production as needed. Accurately record production data and update inventory systems. Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow all safety procedures. Adapt to shifting priorities and support various departments as required.
Qualifications:
Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred but not required. Strong hand-eye coordination and ability to learn part names and assembly processes. Effective communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Team-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs and push carts weighing up to 1,500 lbs. Comfortable working extended hours in a standing position.
