Short Term Production Floater ?? Carson City, NV ?? $19.00/hr DOE (Depending on Experience) ? Monday - Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Position Summary We are seeking a Production Floater to support manufacturing operations by assisting with the flow of parts through production processes, building assemblies and sub-assemblies, and ensuring production priorities are met. This position requires a dependable individual with strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to quality and safety. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assemble parts into complete units or sub-assemblies at a bench or workstation. Build sub-assemblies for closures, guides, and valve assemblies. Assemble support products including ball valves and isolation couplings. Build pump flanges and ensure availability for production needs. Inspect components to ensure proper fit and quality standards. Report any quality deviations to supervisors or management. Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation. Enter completed parts into inventory systems using tablets and computers. Assist with TIG welding of sub-assemblies when needed. Follow production schedules and prioritize work accordingly. Maintain tools and work areas in a clean and organized manner. Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred but not required. Ability to learn part names, part numbers, and assembly procedures. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work well with others in a team environment. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. for large valve assembly and up to 50 lbs. for small valve assembly. Ability to push carts weighing up to 1,500 lbs. Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for assembly work and tool usage.
